"YĀN" ("the App", "we") provides oracle-card readings for entertainment. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your data.
Data we collect
Account info — email or Google account (if you sign up), display name
Usage data — the questions you type, cards drawn, reading history, credit balance, usage statistics
Asking style (wording adaptation) — the app summarises how you tend to ask (e.g. question length, follow-up frequency) from your own reading history to adapt the wording of readings for you — it never changes a reading’s content or direction. Turn off or clear it anytime in Profile. Not collected for guests.
Purchase data — credit pack / subscription purchase history (via Google Play Billing) — we never see your card number
Guest mode — an anonymous, temporary account with no email and no saved reading history
Third-party processors
To operate the app, some data is sent to these providers:
Supabase (database + authentication) — securely stores your account, credits, and reading history
Google Gemini API — your typed question and drawn cards are sent to generate the reading (not used to train public models)
RevenueCat — processes and validates in-app purchases made through Google Play
Cloudflare Turnstile — verifies you're a real person, not a bot (abuse prevention)
Sentry — receives crash reports when the app malfunctions (technical error details only — never your questions or readings)
What we don't do
We do not sell personal data to third parties, the app carries no ads, and we do not share your data for outside marketing.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time — delete your account instantly in-app via Profile → Delete Account (this permanently erases all associated data).
Security
Data is stored via Supabase (encrypted in transit and at rest) with row-level security so each account can only access its own data.
Children
This app is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
